Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Apple
Sausages
- Smoked fully cooked chicken
apple sausages
- your choice of a great mustard
- your choice of a firm cheddar or
gouda cheese
- fresh asparagus spears
Slit each sausage lengthwise, but
do not cut through.
Open out and spread with mustard.
Tuck a sliver of cheese and one asparagus spear into opening. close
and tie with kitchen twine.
Heat stove top grill and brush with
a little olive oil. Place bundles on hot grill and cook, turning
several times, until heated through.
Remove twine, and cut into slices
or serve as is. Messy but delicious eaten this way.
