Cole Slaw
Old-fashioned Grandma kind

1 small head cabbage
1/2 yellow onion
1 apple
3/4 to 1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk or half and half
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
2-3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Shred the cabbage into a large bowl. Shred the onion and apple and add to the cabbage. In a batter bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients, tasting to make sure it is just right. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture, toss, and let refrigerate several hours to blend flavors. Sprinkle with paprika and serve. Oh, don't forget the radish roses for garnish.
