Any Vegetable Stir Fry

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
slivered garlic or onion, as desired
green snap peas or snow peas
fresh asparagus
1-2 teaspoons Hoisin sauce
1-2 teaspoons broth, or water, or white wine as desired
snipped parsley or cilantro
candied ginger for garnish

First prepare the vegetables, washing and cutting into easily eaten sized pieces. Cut across the grain of the vegetable as much as possible.

Heat the oil in a wok or stir fry pan so that it is hot but not smoking. Using a silicone stirring spatula or spoon, quickly stir in the slivered garlic or onion or both, and cook and stir about 30-60 seconds.

Then add the other vegetables and cook and stir until it is tender-crisp, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the sauce and both, garnish with snipped herbs and enjoy some candied ginger stirred in or on the side.
